Park Snow Donovaly surrounded by the nature of the Low Tatras and Veľká Fatra has been one of the most popular places for winter fun for years. The length of the slopes is 11 km and they are divided into two areas – Nová hoľa and Záhradište. You can choose out of 19 slopes of varying difficulty. The slopes of Nov hoľa, dedicated to more experienced riders, are reached by a combined 6-seater chairlift and 8-seater cabins. Beginners and moderately advanced skiers, on the other hand, can enjoy the area of Záhradište. Here you will find a 4-chair lift and 12 ski lifts. The ski resort is also famous for its Patty Ski fun park, the largest children’s ski learning area in Europe.

In addition to skiing, the cross-country skiing trails are also being groomed in Donovaly. 2 cross-country skiing circuits in the vicinity of Polianka and Močiarov and the Donovaly- Šachtičky trail has total lenght of 18,4 km. The new map of cross-country ski trails can be obtained at the local information center. You can also enjoy free ski touring on 3 routes.

The resort offers visitors services such as ski equipment rental, accommodation in hotels and guesthouses, wellness. You will also find there snow park – Riders park Záhradište (possibility of slope snowboarding, acrobatic skiing), a number of catering services, dog sledding, snow paragliding and ice skating on artificial ice. Last but not least, the area offers excellent conditions for mountain hiking.

On selected days, the SKIBUS from Banská Bystrica runs to the ski resort from Banská Bystrica.
