(The Tourist Train does not operate on weekdays, except by reservation for private groups.)

The Traditional Banská Bystrica Tour

The train route begins at the Clock Tower on SNP Square, from where it continues along Horná Street, past the Porges Palace building, through Kukučínova Street, and along Rudlovská Road to Štefan Moyses Square. The train then continues through the City Castle grounds, then along Horná Street, ČSA Street, and on past the park below the SNP Museum. It then heads toward Národná Street and Dolná Street, past the Point shopping center to Strieborné Square, and from there back via Lazovná.

The city tour begins and ends at the Clock Tower on SNP Square and lasts approximately 30 minutes (5 km). The train has a capacity of 42–56 passengers. *Route and departure times are subject to change.

PRICE LIST
€5 – standard ticket for the traditional tour
€3 – discounted ticket for the traditional tour (children ages 3–14, seniors over 65, people with disabilities, and holders of the Janský Plaque)

Tickets are sold directly on the Tourist Train; simply board and wait for the guide.
