Výklad káva & viac

On Narodna Street towards Namestie SNP, you will be enchanted by the large glass windows, the jungle of rescued plants from the Kvetulku andd the original brick walls. „Výklad“ is an industrial place full of inspiration, good music, quality products and most of all nice people who are happy to take care of your comfort. In addition to a variety of coffees and craft beverages, they also offer fine natural wines, which you can try at their regularly organized wine tasting. They have been open since last year and are already buzzing with enthusiastic customers who love to return.

Mlsnacava

Roastery Mlsnacava is a concept located under the market hall on the main square in Banská Bystrica. They focus on producing the highest quality coffee that will amaze you with its pleasant aroma and even better taste. Already now their coffee is offered by several cafes not only in Slovakia, but also abroad. You can find it for example in Bratislava, Levice, Modra or Telgart. In their showroom, besides coffee tasting, you can also buy various accessories for coffee preparation and other additional goods. They have expanded their offer with tasty tartlets and biscuits made by Slovak confectioners.

The Fleck coffee roasters
A café with its own roastery hidden in the inner block of one of Bystrica’s housing estates. We are talking about a proven local in a pleasant environment with a fountain view, which will offer you a modern concept with honest preparation of your own coffee. The Fleck is a favourite spot of many Bystrica’s residents who come here to relax and sweeten their sweet tooth.

Poetika káva a koláčik

The poetic soul of many readers will be delighted by this place. Café Poetika located opposite the State Scientific Library, offers delicious coffee and tasty desserts. The pleasant atmosphere of the environment will make you want to read your favourite book. Poetika is a café where you can relax and recharge your batteries for the next day.

365.café labb

Are you looking for a large open space, suitable for thinking up new ideas or relaxing after work? The 365.labb coworking community centre is located on Lazovná Street near the main square. The concept differs from Bystrica’s locales, as their premises host a number of educational, motivational and networking events. (e.g. Introduction to Marketing and Social Networking, Speech Workshop, BBTHON, Pop-Up Bazar, Painting with Wine, etc.). Among other things, they offer delicious coffee, raw cakes and refreshing lemonades.

Black coffee

Black coffee is a cosy café in the historical centre of Banská Bystrica. The interior of the place is an urban style facility. The space is connected to a small bakery, which offers you fresh pastries daily. The café is a place where you can start your day with a delicious coffee and homemade cake. In the early evening, this place is perfect for a glass of fine wine.

Barovňa Čarovňa

This establishment also deserves to be included in our imaginary list. A teahouse that offers not only quality loose-leaf foreign teas, but also delicious coffee from local roasters. During the warmer months, they operate a summer terrace on the main square, which is also why only few people will miss a visit there. Come to Barovna and enjoy a matcha latte or a variety of different tea gardens at the Bar.
