Banská Bystrica
The history of Banská Bystrica is inextricably linked with the mining of precious metals - silver and copper. Thanks to its mineral wealth, the importance of the settlement of Bystrica grew rapidly in the past and in 1255 King Belo IV of Hungary granted it extensive privileges and elevated it to the status of a town.
Zvolen

Kremnica
Kremnica is a town located in the Žiar nad Hronom district. Since the 10th century, gold and silver have been mined in the town and its surroundings. Kremnica has been a free royal mining town since 1328 and since the 14th century it has been nicknamed Golden Kremnica. The town is home to the Kremnica Mint, which is the oldest mint still in existence in the world.
Krupina
The town is an independent self-governing territorial unit of the Slovak Republic, it brings together citizens who have permanent residence on its territory. The city independently decides and carries out all acts related to the administration of the city and its property, unless a special law entrusts such acts to the state or another legal person or natural person.
